Renovation
Artspace Norbridge Court, originally developed in 2001 in downtown Salt Lake City across from the Old Greektown TRAX station, underwent a comprehensive, two-phase occupied modernization. The project revitalized the mixed-use, transit-oriented community while maintaining 50% resident occupancy throughout construction, reinforcing long-term affordable housing and creative commercial space in the urban core.
The scope encompassed a full interior remodel with reconfigured unit layouts to improve spatial flow and accessibility, an extensive building envelope retrofit with high-performance window replacements and exterior insulation, and a complete mechanical system overhaul. Complementing the residential upgrades, the development integrated exterior facade modernizations, activated courtyard enhancements, and a rooftop solar photovoltaic array—delivering an energy-efficient, high-performance environment tailored for local artists, nonprofits, and residents.
